Our company commenced business in 1881 in the suburb of Abbotsford, as textile recycling business. June 1923 our company purchases the first spring coil making machine and relocated to Western Australia. Following was the first western Australian produced innerspring coil mattress interior. Expansion of the company into manufacturing a large range of fillings, springs, and fabrics ensured that it continued to grow and in 1975 saw another move to modern premises on 15 acres of land in kewdale. Through hard work and innovation our company has grown to be one of Australia's leading manufacturers of innerspring mattresses. The company now manufactures it's own spring interiors on the world renowned spuhl spring making machine.
Felt padding, coir padding, bonded polyester, together with wool padding is made in the company's modern premises under the control of skilful engineers. Polyurethane foam is manufactured and cut with world class machinery under the supervision of expert chemists. Quilting is also manufactured on a quilter - the most advanced quilting machine in the world today. Our company continues to be a wholly western Australian owned family company and has expanded Australia wide. The company continues to seek ways to grow and further build on the success of previous generation's hard work and heritage. |
