Our company is run by a small but dedicated team consisting of the two principals of the business and a workforce of eight. This group participates in manufacturing of all products, distribution, sales and administration. During the peak season an additional group of sales demonstrators support our retailers around the country with tasting and promotional evenings.
Our company started in a classic manner with a “few puddings” being made one Christmas for family and friends. The recipe had been a family favourite throughout the years and had been handed down from generation to generation.
Over the years that followed, demand for these handmade, traditional, boiled in the cloth puddings grew steadily. In 1984 business operations commenced in a formal manner with significant volumes being made and sales increasing through community fairs, local stores and the growing number of family and friends.
With such a response, the name of our company was adopted for the business, and a dedicated production process started each season. The accolades continued to flow with the Sydney Morning Herald voting the recipe as “Australia's Best Christmas Pudding”. |
